Losing it - update...

Just a quick note to let you that as of now we have about 9lbs, in the
last 10 days or so, meaning that we are about 15lbs away from hitting
the 1st big target, that hitting 15 stone, with the deadline being end
of July. Got footy tonight, will speak soon

Bank Holidays - The facts

England has eight bank holidays every year...

Europe and the U.S has three more.

Several Latin Americans nations have up to 33 such days each year.

So not only are we the worst paid and most taxed in the developed
world, but we have the least holidays...

Makes you wonder what's the point of it all.....

Weighty Problems....of all sorts!

I've been back at the gym for a week, and as of now have lost 4lbs.

Before you all congratulate me, I've still got 21lbs to go till I hit
the first target. Symbolic as it would be the lightest I would've
been at my current employers.

I think that it gets to a point where all you are doing when you go
out for the evening is wishing that you didn't stand out in the
crowd. It is natural to think that, 16 and a half stone and 5ft 8",
that is always going to be the case.

Saying that, we do have the example of James Corden of Gavin and
Stacey fame being romantically linked with Lily Allen. How the fuck
has that come about? James, is slightly shorter and heavier than
yours truly, and yet he's been able to pull women, that I can
fantasise till the cows come home, but it'll never happen whilst I'm
like I am.

People say that they love you for who you are, but surely that doesn't
count for shit, if you don't love yourself. The press are constantly
harping on and on, about models always being skinny and size 0, in
fact one of the reality shows in La-La land deemed anyone over a size
8 as being of Plus-Size.

That is ridiculous and pretty vacuous. At a time where more and more
young people are taking drugs to get skinny, surely society has a
moral obligation to explain the difference of being healthy as well as
skinny and skeletal and ill.

Afternoon,

The government is 26 points behind the Tories according to the latest
polls...

Think Labour might just win the next election.

In a bog

I type this from a toilet here in Folkestone. The weatherboa
beautiful, and I have just enjoyed a nice, chilled glass of Bulmers,
with more ice than is at the South Pole!
