Perspective Of Life...

Got home from Alton Towers last night, hoping to just crash out and
get some well deserved sleep.

Some chance of that happening with Mother.

As soon as I got in, the witch was starting with sly remarks. For
fuck sake, why fucking say anything if you haven't got anything to
fucking say. Can't live without your fucking banker for a fucking
weekend. And they say that parents are supposed to guide their
siblings. Not in this family. If you have money, then you are
Mother's best friend, if you haven't, you're no use at all to her.
And the same can be said of my sister, who cites amongst other
reasons, that she thinks its more difficult to get on with different
people for her than it is for me, and so she'd rather stay in her job,
with shitty wages and similar job prospects, whilst at the same time,
sponge as much money off me as humanly possible within a month.
Currently at £520 for the two of them so far since payday, leaving me
struggling.

As if they give a fuck...

I didn't move back home for them to make me worse off, but that is
exactly what has happened.

And the saddest thing of all, is that I can only see this getting
worse, before it gets better.

If it ever does...

Back To Reality.....but only temporarily

People,

I am glad to report back in after a weekend of excesses, and that was
the KFC! Entertaining night on Saturday, was followed by Calzaghe
beating B-Hop in Las Vegas. Although my body might be with me at the
moment as I type in the toilet cubicle here @ work, I do have to say
that I have not felt as rough as I did yesterday.

Oh well, Alton Towers in barely 96 hours, but before then, we have the
prospect of Chelsea coming to Anfield, for the 1st leg....

Easy Home Win!!!!

For Your Listening...

Morning, all.

Thought I'd get online before I have to get ready for work, last day of the week, all good!

Moving on, here's some stuff for you to have a peruse and listen to for the next few weeks...

Firstly, I mentioned that I would get the Manics' response to the Hillsborough disaster and the way that a certain incompetent police force reacted...however I cannot at the moment, but will try and track that down. Very important.

Moving onto my genre of choice, here's the first...

This track is by Global Experience - Madras. It's on Tiesto ISOS Ibiza, released in the Autumn last year. Excellent track.

Next one above is from Prolific Trancers - Above and Beyond, this is from the newly released 'Re-Mixed' album. It's Tri-State (Robert Nickson Remix)

NB: There is an excellent Intro Version of this which is beautifully crafted.

Finally, I leave you with this, This is Lost Witness Vs Sassot - Whatever (Aly & Fila Remix). Massive tune!!!

See ya!

Justice For The 96

Today marks the 19th anniversary of the Hillsborough Disaster where 96
innocent Liverpool supporters lost their lives, thanks in no small
part to the incompentence and lack of leadership by South Yorkshire
Police, also known as South Yorkshire Mass Murderers as depicted by
the Manic Street Preachers. I'll find a link for you later today.

I'm intending to put up some links for you all to look at sometime
tonight.

Today's memorial service at Anfieldvis expected to be well attended as
always. It is one of the occasions where attendance by all Management
and players is deemed compulsory.

Today also puts into sharp contrast the current goings-on at Anfield
involving our esteemed American owners. Neither are expected to be at
the service today...

Quiet Weekend

And it was to be honest.

Mum was working both days and I was working the Saturday Morning. Got
home did fuck all for the rest of the weekend. Did induge in a nice
bottle of Rosè whilst watching the Masters Golf on the Beeb.

Very Nice.

Typing this whilst having a tight chest, been like that for most of
today.

Get paid tomorrow, 45% of it has to go to Mother and Sis. Not great.
Hopefully, I'll get some money back from people who owe me, saying
that I don't want going without. That's not fair on them. Got Tara's
birthday get-together on Saturday which will be fun. Gangsters and
Sluts are the theme.

Wonder what they'll think if I went all Bugsy Malone on them all ;)

Brown In Common Sense Shocker

It seems that our Dear Leader does have cajones after all.

Just days after saying he would be going to Beijing for the Opening
Ceremony for the Olympics, he has performed a U-turn and is now not
going.

That, as well as the farcical and ridiculous relay, took in San
Francisco....well it did, just that we wern't able to see it.

I didn't know San Francisco had also been annexed to China.

Is it me, or....

Are we nearing the end of our Labour government?

I say 'our' Labour government with more than a glancing sigh, as they
have well and truly shafted their core vote.

People, young people like myself, who would naturally vote Labour,
feel betrayed, as they have abolished the 10p in £1 level, as well as
the 25p in £1 level and they have replaced it with a one-size-fits-all
20p in £1 level, meaning that if you are a low wage paying 10p to
every £1, you are being asked DOUBLE, than before.

Are we sure Brown isn't just Thatcher in a suit?

Bastards.

Fucking hell......

Liverpool 4 Arsenal 2

What a game.

Two awesome teams.

Worthy of the final.

Premiership truly does rule.

It can be argued now, that the four best teams in Europe, are
England's big 4

Wow!

When we were young...

Messy weekend here in Folkestone, and that was just the snow!

Friday night was my 26th birthday get together, and as expected it was
lively and manic as those six minutes in Istanbul.

The usual suspects, and although they all did their very best to leave
me legless, they failed as I was able to walk the mile or so back to
my place in the north of town.

Saturday, arrived in a blur and distorted way. For some peculiar
reason, I went into work to check up on those who'd been out the night
before - it's called showing responsibility and maturity and nothing
else (bullshit!!). Got home and watched LFC draw with L'Arse at the
Emirates, which considering we never get anything there, is pretty
commendable.

Decided not to head out Saturday, proved to be a wise decision as I
was shattered by 7pm in any case!!!

Finally, yesterday I went down to my ex-boss' place for a fantastic
Mexican, absolutely fantastic!!

It snowed whilst we were down there and today as I type this the snow
is melting on the hills, due to the sun getting to work on it.
Apparently we might get some more later. I hope not. Never thought
I'd hear myself say that!!!

I was thinking just before I hit the sack last night, whether I'd hit
the jackpot, with the friends that I've got. I've always found
meeting new people relatively, but they have with rare exceptions,
taken advantage of me.

Think I'm lucky with whom I can call my friends!

Speak later....

Another Day, Another Dictator...

Last week, China.

This week, Zimbabwe.

Over the weekend, the Zimbabwean people have voted in their droves to
show who they would like to be their next president.

Not that simple, that.

The latest from there is that there will probably have to be a run-off
between Hitler and Morgan Tsranghai, the leader of the opposition
movement, the MDC.

According to observers from the SADC, the elections have been free and
fair. I can only presume that is by African standards, as I don't
remember dead people being allowed to vote. It's like that episode
from the simpsons where Sideshow Bob fixes an election.

Even snowball voted for Bob.
