Is The Shit Hitting The Proverbial?

Evening,

After a day of wildcat actions against foreign workers using the mantra of Chairman Brown supporting "British Jobs For British Workers" you cannot help but wonder whether Brown's words are beginning to come back and bite him on his fat arse.

Let there be no doubt. This has the potential of being fatally damaging for the government...

Back Into The Swing Of It...

Evening,

Apologies for the lack of posts in the last few days. I have been cracking on with my strenous training regime as I am aiming to be down towards that magic 10 stone target by the end of the year and by extension have my own place and a girl to share it with!

Obviously, all this takes time and money and effort!

In recent sessions although I have been getting through the sessions without much problems I have noticed somewhat a lack of sharpness particularly in regards of my weight training, so I am considering taking a break from that for a few weeks and am probably going to start going swimming at the same place, either that or go elsewhere.

All in, I think it will invigorate the regime for the weeks and months ahead!

Speak soon,

Rob :)

What Do I Do Next...

Evening,

The much-vaunted ceasefire agreement which was agreed by all parties was dramatically wrecked this evening.

And no I am not talking about the conflict in Gaza.

It was agreed by all of us that there would be none of the bickering from any of us this weekend following what has been a week of arguing and shouting over matters which we have no control over.

To be honest I always knew that there would be some form of bother, because it tends to happen.

Three massive egos that need to be constantly massaged.

However, I am realizing myself that the time is now coming for where I have to make the move away from home, even though I know that it will make me financially poorer. Now I am in a work environment which is an awful lot more stressful than where I was before, I need to find the medium where I can have that peaceful time at home without having to cope with what is a ridiculous situation.

I cannot see why I should be made to continue the indiginity of dealing with a mother and sister who are not willing to get better jobs because they have me to rely upon if they are short of a few quid.

The time is coming, it is making that call.

Rob :)

As Damning As It Can Get...

Afternoon,

I am really am wondering how it is that our beloved Chairman Brown could not see the Recession coming.

We have been in recession for probably the last six months unofficially and yet the Prime Minister has only now admitted that he could not fathom that Britain was heading for the proverbial shitter.

We have had economists the world over telling us for months that it was inevitable that Britain, having such a heavy reliance on financial services would get uniquely hit hard in this global recession because of the above, unlike so many other industrialised nations, who have several strong industrys to rely upon, very much in the same way we could, several decades ago.

Also, back then, private finance was something that could be rely upon to help the government bankroll academies and business in general. Yet it is now the very same people that we relied on to help us, that are having to come cap in hand to the taxpayers because their business model fucked up.

And that means U.K plc risks that one thing that is already happening to many people.

Bankrupcy.

Have A Nice Day.

Rob :(

As Of 9.30am...

...Britain will be in recession.

But we should not be worrying as many other industrialised nations such as the U.S and France have been in recession for some time.

If only economics were only that simple....

Let Me Tell You Something...

I was thinking this evening about the ever increasing concerns about the economy and thought that perhaps it is time we take matters into our own hands.

At a time when the government feels it is their duty and obligation to save the banks by practically any means necessary, surely it is the moment where their paymasters i.e the taxpayers start calling the shots instead of the government. After all, it is us who are bailing the little, incompetent twats from their gigantic fuck-up.

Alas, those in power know that if we were to use the one tool that is open to us, then the banks would not be the only ones who would be falling on their sword.

And yet they are ignoring the will of the people, of course that is par for the round for this government. The current

Apologies...

...for no rant last night!!

I was too busy having a laugh at Spurs' abysmal performance in the Mickey Mouse Cup.

Oh and admiring my new jacket from little known brand Addict!

Cracking jacket, perfect for when I go to Alton Towers in April!

What An Utter Shit Day....

Evening,

Just walking home from the gym after an exhaustive session. Today has been to be honest one of my bad days.

Arguments at home, discontentment work-wise and generally pissed off in general.

A potent mix for a rant later on tonight, probably once Princess Pushy has gone to bed!

Speak laters,

Rob

What Today Symbolises..,

Evening all,

There are some days in history where people ask you where you were at such an event, such as Kennedy's assasination and the death of Diana.

The inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States is one such moment. Of course we knew in November last year that Obama would be acclaimed President after that landslide, however it is the historic and emotional symbolism that is attached to it which makes as momentous as those two examples which I mentioned above.

Naturally, the rabid right in the UK have been quick to tar Obama with the tag of being the U.S answer of Our Tony.

I do not see any comparisons.

One is someone who symbolises hope and peace in the world. Someone who is able to bring warring factions together and someone who has lived in the real world.

The other person is Tony Blair.

And that will be the last time I will be mentioning these two in the same breath....

Another Bailout Plan....

Morning,

The Treasury has just confirmed in the last 10 minutes that they have agreed to yet another bailout plan to encourage banks to start lending again.

So what happened to the original £500billion that the government gave them in October. Was that not enough?

We should be told...

Back To The Future...

Both the BBC and Sky are reporting that former Chancellor Ken Clarke is returning to frontline politics to face Randy Mandy as Shadow Business Secretary.

Cannot help but fear that this is potentially fatal for Labour, considering the Tories' 13 point lead in the polls and with a further bank bailout expected to be announced in the morning...

Not good for Chairman Brown...

Oh For Fuck's Sake!!!

I am listening at the moment to a ridiculous discussion on FiveLive, regarding suggestions that the Police are considering taking action against persistent agititors who use shall we say, colourful language in public.

It seems that authorities in Preston are taking action against such abusers and it seems that the usual suspects are backing this to the hilt...

Yet another example of this country going down the proverbial shitter. The police are saying that this measure is to allow early detection of those offenders as it is seen that it is these very same people who are at the end of the night in the local nick.

No doubt the detection rates for murderers and rapists must be extremely high for the authorities to be going down this intiative.

Thought not.

Something tells me this is not going to the final shot in battle.

Alas, iPhone Is Mine!!!

Morning!

No doubt by reading that where this is being blogged from today! I have decided to go for it and blow £400 of my hard-earned cash on the 3.5 inch figure of beauty.

Not that it was that difficult to decide to!

Having used it last night, I cannot see anything which is of fault on here, probably because as soon as I activated it, I instantly jailbroke it which means I have more applications to choose from and not be strangled by the limitations that Apple and its providers inevitably put on their products.

So far, so fucking good!!!

The Final Insult

Tony Blair receives the US Medal of Freedom from President George W. Bush

Yes, that is what you think it is.

Dubya paid tribute to Bliar's friendship, "the might and moral authority of Great Britain", Bliar's belief in freedom, "his service to peace to peace and democracy in the Middle East".

Not seen him in Gaza recently...

The iPhone...Mine Imminently!!!!

Evening,

As regular readers will note, I am a great fan of keeping in touch with the latest technological advances.  I have had an iTouch for almost a year and over that time I have wondered whether it would be worth getting its big brother the iPhone.  After much soul-searching (that a lie, but it makes good reading!) I have decided to get it, purely on the basis that it now includes 3G on it, unlike the first incarnation of the iPhone.http://www.aussier.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/iphone3g-australia.jpg

As I am intending to be getting the 16gb version of the phone, I have decided to sell not just my beloved iTouch but also my 30gb Ipod Classic and my LG Viewty.  Although the Viewty is a great phone, it is not a patch on the iPhone.

I have agreed deals totally £225 for the above, which I think is a fair deal, which means that I only need to find about £170 quid altogether, which is more than fine!

I will be getting it on Thursday, you will know when I have it, as I will be blogging on it on a very regular basis and it will help towards something which I want to do this year, once I have got my passport, that is!

Cannot fucking wait!!!

White Working Class Feel 'Neglected' - Get A Fucking Job, Then!

Evening, all.

Following my in-depth piece concerning the rise and rise of the far-right across Europe, last weekend, there has been comments from the Communities Minister, Hazel Blears who has said that White working class people on some estates feel their concerns about immigration are ignored.

She said that there was the need for a greater effort to challenge "myths" from the far right.

The comments came as a study of attitudes to immigration was published finding a widespread sense of resentment, unfairness and disenpowerment among white working-class communities in England.

Surely people should be encourage to help themselves by getting a fucking job.  I am sick to the back teeth of people blaming anyone but themselves for their predicament.  The amount of people who are sitting at home twiddling their thumbs expecting the state to pay for their lives is getting intolerable.

Get a fucking job, and stop blaming everyone else!

Happy New Year...

Here's hoping the coming year's a darn sight better than the previous past 12 months...
