Morning,
I see that Sharon Shoesmith, the lady that gave us the Baby P scandal has been speaking the Graudiad. In the interview she states that her and Haringey Council were used as pawns in a party political game.
That might be true, however the bottom line remains that it was her and the authority's responsilbility to look after vulnerable children in their area, which they failed absymally.
If she thinks that stating that she considered committing suicide after being sacked by Ed Balls, is going to get any sympathy from the general public, then she is very much mistaken.
Shoesmith speaks to Auntie, on Woman's Hour at 4pm on Radio 4 this afternoon.
