Is The Damage Already Done?

Evening,

Some damaging news for Chairman Brown as he prepares to try and relaunch Labour's agenda.  Polls announced today say some 51% of those asked believe that his leadership is damaging the country.  The poll done by YouGov on behalf of the Sunday Times has to be seen as yet another blow to Brown's credibility after last week's disasterous election results.  And we thought that Brown's support could not sink any further...

Some people are beginning to wonder aloud whether, regardless of what happens, between now and next May whether Labour's fate is sealed.  People have shown at the polls last week that they are not at all happy with Brown's continuing leadership.  Indeed some 49% of those asked said that they would support calls for an immediate General Election...  Not that there is that much good news for Mr Cameron...

Only 36% of those asked said that they thought the Tory leader had the right policies to deal with Britain's ever continuing difficulties whilst half said he did not...  Saying that though Cameron's popularity was put at 25%, whilst Brown's popularity is -50%....
